The side-effects of energy drinks




Having a powerful drink to boost up your energy sounds perfect. Some people say that the energy drinks are not that powerful, and the others drink them every day. But that kind of power must bring some danger along the way. Some people drink it because it tastes good, and the other want to keep up with their busy, everyday life. But, most of them are not even aware the mixture drinking, they don’t even know the main ingredients of it, they just know that they are feeling great. Unfortunately, energy drinks may have some side-effects that everyone should be aware of:

1. They can give you a lot of energy, but they can also increase a risk of heart attack stoke. The worst thing is that they are usually mixed with alcoholic drinks, and that can be a deadly combination since they can make your body dehydrate.

2. The caffeine overtake can cause many problems, such as high blood pressure, insomnia, nervousness, jitter and many others. It is important to know that it’s dangerous to drink more that 200 mg of caffeine daily, but most of energy drinks have more than 300 mg of caffeine in just one can.

3. Some studies showed that among students who regular consume energy drinks, nearly 30% suffered some kind of crash episodes.

4. There are also some studies that showed that those kids who have a habit of drinking energy drinks are more likely to be cigarette smokers and drug addicts in the future.

5. Many think that they can beat fatigue this way. The truth is, the results are short-termed, even if you beat it for a while, effect will pass very fast and you will feel more tired than ever.

6. Remember that those kinds of drinks also lead to a dependence, thanks to very high level of sugar and caffeine.

Most of ingredients of those drinks have side-effect such as: rising the blood pressure, fatigue, dizziness, aggressiveness, nausea, headache, diarrhea, insomnia and even some serious pain. It doesn’t have to be that all energy supplements are like that, by the most powerful are usually very dangerous. It is always better to choose some of natural health products, or even make an energy drink by yourself, with a lot of vitamins and minerals. That way, you’ll be completely sure about every ingredient you are giving to your body.
